About the presenter:
Dr Hickson is a physician working in Western Sydney. He has been a trainee doctor in a variety of specialties including emergency medicine, intensive care and most recently sexual health. He is now pursuing specialisation in public health. Has a keen interest in systems responses to health problems, in particular how our socio-economic system propagates health hazards and how it responds to these challenges.
Climate change, microplastics and endocrine disrupting chemicals are a direct consequence of this area of interest.
