Meet the Candidates - Calare

Meet the Candidates - Calare

Join us to meet the individuals who seek to represent the constituents of Calare after the next Federal Election and hear their opinions on health, the environment and climate.

Health is the most important thing we’ve got.

As doctors, we see more heart attacks, cancers, asthma, mental illness and more ill-health, due to our worsening climate and environment degradation. We cannot wait any longer while we are trapped in the detrimental health effects of coal, oil and gas. We cannot risk 30 years of these health hazards while we wait for nuclear energy.  We have solutions now that are better for our health, can protect our environment, can ease the cost of living and give us, our children and our grandchildren a safe future.

For the sake of those you care about, lets discuss how we can Put Our Health First.

Facilitated by Ashley Bland (Founder of Constructive Energy), hear from two of Calare's candidates,

  • Ms Kate Hook (Independent Candidate)
  • Dr Julie Cunningham (Labor Candidate)
Also invited to participate: Andrew Gee (Independent Federal Member for Calare) and Sam Farraway (Nationals)

Date: Tuesday 25 February 2025
Time: Commences 6.30pm
Location: Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre, 105 William St, Bathurst NSW 2795
