This forum will create a safe respectful forum for the community to hear from the candidates and in turn be heard by them. We will have pre-prepared questions and allow an opportunity for community to members to ask about the issues most important to them.

Our Facilitator
Dr Kate Wylie is a GP and DEA's executive director. Based in Adelaide (Tarndanya), Dr Wylie knows that climate change is a health issue and believes that doctors have a key role to play in shaping the communities response to the climate crisis.

Our Candidates
Claire Clutterham: Claire is an elected councillor for the Norwood Payneham and St Peters Council. As a local councillor, Claire has the experience in advocating for her community on things big and small. Claire wants to ensure we have a government that continues to deliver real action for a better future both nationally and at a local level.
Verity Cooper: Verity has lived in Sturt for 30 years and has served the community as a local GP. Verity is committed to integrity in government and free from party politics believes she can focus on what really matters; practical solutions for Sturt.
Katie McCusker: Katie was born, raised, and continues to live in the suburbs of eastern Adelaide. Katie has a degree in politics and psychology and has worked mostly in the public sector in South Australia. Katie has a strong sense of social justice activism, including being a renters advocate. Katie believes change is possible.
James Stevens: is the current Federal Member for Sturt. Before entering Parliament in 2019, James was chief of staff to Steven Marshall. He is an experienced and driven South Australian leader with a strong connection to the electorate of Sturt and its many communities. Since entering Parliament, James has championed local upgrades on behalf of the community where he grew up and lives.
